Rose Liu is an artist drawn to the transient. She is particularly interested in the intimacies of diasporic identity, the constructed nature of memory, and the “non-places.”

Liu received her BA in Studio Art from Wheaton College in 2013, and MFA in Photography and Related Media from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2018.

In addition to building a personal artistic practice, Liu works with museums, galleries, brands, and other creatively-minded organizations on narrative, commercial and documentary films. Previous collaborators include The Museum of Modern Art, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Magnum Photos, among others.
